EXPERIENCE:
- In early 1994, Paula started her career in the technology industry and was at the forefront of the high-tech and Internet boom. Paula started working for Logic Works Inc., a data modeling software company based in Princeton, NJ. Logic Works was voted and featured on the front cover, as one of the fastest growing companies by Business Week in 1996. Logic Works was later acquired by Computer Associates.
- In 1997, Paula moved on to work for Icon CMT, one of the first B-to-B Internet Service Providers, with major clients including Pfizer, Bear Stearns and CBS. Icon CMT was based in Weehawken, NJ with a satellite office in New York City. Icon CMT was later acquired by Qwest Communications.
Both companies, Logic Works, Inc. and Icon CMT, were successful pre-IPO and target acquisition start-up companies in which Paula managed aggressive marketing programs such as advertising, collateral, direct mail, lead management, partner and industry events, sales programs, website design and online programs. At both companies she spearheaded the channel reseller and partner programs and managed multi-million dollar marketing budgets.
- In 1999, Paula was recruited to work for AT&T’s network outsourcing spin-off, AT&T Solutions, which then merged into AT&T Business. Paula was based in AT&T’s corporate office in Bedminster, NJ.
At AT&T Paula managed various programs in Marketing and Public Relations such as:
Product Marketing – Identifying go-to-market strategies to launch a variety of networking product lines internally to the sales force and externally to the market. Accomplished by developing integrated marketing plans per product line, often collaborating with key industry and business partners.
Strategic Marketing – Developing the strategic messaging for key company initiatives (i.e. thought and technology leadership) and developing an integrated plan to communicate and promote internally and externally to the market.
Executive Briefing Program – Managing critical, strategic, high-level briefings for AT&T’s Fortune 50 sales accounts such as Apple Computer, Circuit City, Cisco Systems, Citibank, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Schering-Plough and Washington Mutual. Based on sales objectives, strategized with national account teams on key messaging and managed strategic and tactical planning for 2-day, highly confidential briefings.
Executive Positioning Program – Strategizing, managing and negotiating speaking engagements for company leaders to support brand and product positioning. Developed efficient leverage plans to effectively utilize key speakerships, often driving product announcements.
Events Management -- Managing all levels of conferences from seminars, to trade shows, partner events, to high-level conferences -- supporting both product and corporate branding initiatives.
